Letter from our President

Bill Hayes, the Chairman of Mission for Ukraine, has been a friend of ours since 2018. When the invasion of Russia into the Ukraine happened in February 2022, Bill traveled to Poland to support Ukrainian refugees. As a result, he created “Mission for Ukraine” which our family has supported ever since.

In March 2025 I took the opportunity to travel with Bill to Warsaw and meet the people, especially children and young adults, who have been severely marked and affected by the war. This visit has given face and a voice to the suffering we only know from newspapers.

Together with some close friends here in Zurich, I have therefore decided to create the Association “Heart & Art Ukraine” to support some of the projects which are already underway, especially those relating to Lilia’s Art Therapy and to the very important TRCH (Prosthetic Clinic 3-D printing programme).
